"Fruits of the forest"
Autumn brings with it a mass of colours, also the berries are ripe for picking! The Arctic cloudberries, followed by blueberries and lingonberries and last of all the cranberries.

Many Finns fill their deepfreezes with them and during the long winter months take them out and make juices, desserts, jams, pies, the list goes on! All free and ready to pick in the forests.

Some of the busiest pickers collect buckets of them and take them to buying in points where they sell them (Its tax free "a rare joy in Scandinavia"). Locals have been known to buy most of their home appliances just from selling berries!

Anyway the sun is out now and I have to get out and pick berries for our new computer!

Ps: The buying in price for uncleaned berries is around 1 euro per kg, 9kg per bucket, for a 700 euro computer I need some 78 buckets!!
So get out there Chris!
